Special Education at RMA Public Schools
Every student deserves the chance to learn, grow, and succeed—and at RMA Public Schools, we make that possible.
We provide Free Appropriate Public Education (FAPE) to high school students (grades 9–12) with a variety of disabilities, including learning, speech, intellectual, emotional, and health-related needs. We also serve students with autism, orthopedic or traumatic brain injuries, multiple disabilities, and those who are deaf-blind, visually impaired, or auditorily impaired from birth.
Our special education program is built around individual strengths and goals. Students receive the right level of support—whether that’s in a general education classroom with accommodations and extra help, or in a more specialized setting with targeted instruction.
At RMA, we believe in possibilities. With the right tools, encouragement, and care, every student can reach their potential.
