McKinney-Vento Program
The RMA Public Schools McKinney-Vento Program provides support to families and unaccompanied youth experiencing temporary housing situations due to the loss of stable housing.
Each RMA campus works in collaboration with the District Liaison. This dual role allows for a coordinated effort between the liaison and campus personnel to ensure seamless identification, enrollment assistance, and ongoing support for McKinney-Vento students. The goal is to remove barriers to school attendance and help students succeed academically.
RMA also partners with local shelters, food pantries, clinics, and other service providers to connect families with valuable community resources.
If you or someone you know has lost housing and now lives in a shelter, motel, vehicle, campground, trailer, on the street, doubled-up with others, or in another temporary or inadequate housing situation, your child may qualify for services under the federal McKinney-Vento Act. All information will remain confidential.
